Unders 16s Fun Day Sunday 11Th Sept 2011posted on 11 September 2011 | posted in Articles / NewsThis was the Day , I was really looking forward to the most , along with all the Junior Anglers.It was great to see so many turn up for the 1st under 16 fun day and the smiles on there Faces made it worth every Min So with a 10 am Meet up and all the Juniors ready it was time to pick the pegs Even know the fishing was a bit slow It didnt really matter with the Juniors as It was there day Young George  Jacob  Jamie  Harrison  George  Ben  Ben  Rebecca  and the one that got away  A very well done to all that Entered , Give yourself a Large pat on the back as you all did very well and stuck at It and Hayden  Hayden Carp  Here was the end Results 1st Harrison 11lb 3oz Few carp , skimmer and a Cracking Perch on the feeder Great fishing and one to watch out for as he could give many of the Adults a run for there Money Great to see with a Younger Angler 2nd Young Hayden with 3lb Total not bad with only one arm and all caught on the whip 3rd Ben with 1lb 8 0z But He lost some Bigger Bream which was a shame but you could cleary see Young Ben has been taught By Lee and is Also looking to turn into a great angler Other Weights Young George 1lb 7 0z Rebecca 1lb 3 0z Angel 1lb 1 0z Bigger George 5 1/2 0z Jamie 4 1/2 0z Jacob 4 0z Tj Did very well with catching many Carp on the float but had to stop as he wasnt feeling very well , Hope he is all ok now Gemma So well done again to all that come along  It has made me think that we will be inculding a few more Under 16s fun days next year and work on puttiing a little team out for nailors fishing soon So I will be keeping a eye open other the next few years  Plus I was very pleased that the weather Held out and that everyone caught So that leaves me to thank all that helped on the day Intill next time |
