Sunny day at the lakesposted on 20 April 2019 | posted in Articles / NewsI had a great day lined up today with Conner coming down in the morning until lunch time, hoping to catch a few Tench using the Groundbate feeder today.. After setting up the feeder rod and mixing up the groundbait, it didnt take long until there were signs of feeding fish in front of us, looking very promising for today's.session..
 It was a lovely sunny day with the fish feeding well.. Connor with another Tench which has a nickname of the doctor fish as it is claimed that this fish takes care of many other fish that fall ill. . The Skin of the Tench should contain an antibiotic which protects other fish!  Conner doing really well today ended up with around 8 tench , best so far I belive .  After Lunch Tom came down and joined in the fun Fishing , tench action didnt stop there which was great! news  Tom with a monster Roach  I even managed to stay for for a few hours fishing myself to enjoy some of my best Roach Fishing for many years , ended up with 20 plus touching the pound mark..  Great way to end a fun and enjoyable session today.. |
