Street Sports Fishing Event Staunton Country Park)posted on 2 April 2012 | posted in Articles / NewsIt was great to see that the Angling Coaches Justin Nailor and his Father Michael Nailor were taking part in a Easter Holiday Street Sports Event at Staunton Country Park in Leigh Park Gardens which was held over 4 days Street Sports is a free hoilday programme of sports and arts for 8-15 years old and is brought to you by Guinness Hermitage and Havant Brough Council The plan was to Teach basic fishing skills including casting and fishing techniques in one to one sessions to all children from Ages of 8-15 years old Many with Special needs and Disabilities Here is a Few Photos of the event Mick Nailor Mick Nailor was a great hit with all the children with Glowing reports Justin Nailor Helping one of the children landing a nice fish Cracking Tench , The smile says it all Great size Roach Both were a big Hit with the Children they were booked up all over the 4 days, great feedback has been received from all the children and there Parents along with the other coaches Justin Nailor Comments on the Event "To Me This is what fishing is all about , spending time with Younger Children and helping many of them catch there 1st fish which will stay with them as a happy memory for many years I just wish more Events are available like this across the UK to give younger Children a taste of Fishing What a great event , I am still receIving many phone calls from parents from the Area , asking if we are returning to the Summer Hoilday Events" Michael Nailor Comments on the Event Well how do i start,it was great to see the young people enjoying themselves,and for them to learn and to encourage them to carry on fishing.
