Slow Day at Lakesideposted on 16 January 2017 | posted in Articles / NewsWhat with the weather being very cold and wet, we both knew that the fishing was going to be slow and hard going. After a slow walk down to the lakes having a good chat and catching up on the weekend we started off setting up the feeder rod and doing some casting practice which improves every time. This was the only fish of the session today , but when we were bringing in the feeder the tip bent straight around and fish on which felt very heavy Josh brought it in right close to his feet and it was a double figure Pike which shocked both of us then the line snapped just when we put the net under the fish. A great way to end the session off and we may target some Pike next time |
