Hayden's National Health service bike rideposted on 10 June 2020 | posted in Articles / NewsThanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page. Hi my name is Hayden Nailor, and In the past year I have received the Tom Elliott award for outstanding community service from Stags in the community, and received the new forest sports council volunteer of the year award for my work with both Stags in the community and AFC Totton. Like a lot of people I am really missing sport at the moment, but i want to put my energy to continuing to help people, especially our amazing heroes in the national health service. With my love of football, I am therefore looking to do a virtual cycle bike ride from home. Covering a total of 936 miles (1591.2km). This is the distance between Home park in Plymouth and ST James park, Newcastle and back, with theese being the two football league clubs who are furthest apart. As the Tour de France is not taking place this year, I will be doing my own tour, over the same 23 day timeframe, including 2 rest days to complete the journey. That's an average of 44.57 miles (75.77km) on each of the 21 days. I will be starting the 23 days on July the 1st. My goal is to raise at least £1591.20 which will go to the NHS Charities Together (https://www.nhscharitiestogether.co.uk/) to help continue the incredible work seen in our hospitals from Plymouth to Newcastle and back again! Will you please help me ? Please click here Please visit my go fund me page to see more details and follow my Instagram @hnailor_e.f.c to watch my progress. Together please let's try to SMASH the target, and I look forward to keeping you posted with my journey. |
